Phu Quoc Prison

The prison was built in 1060s by US Army for detention of captured North Vietnamese soldiers. The prison covers an area of 40,000 square metres (0.015 sq mi). The prison was closed after the country united and opened for visitors later.

One of the unique attraction will be saw how tortures in Pho Quoc Prison. From savage and systematic torture of prisoners of war, such as use of electrical shocks and food deprivation. Now it is serve as the museum for tourist.

First go to visit the next door museum first, then continue to visit the past Prison.



Then walk toward the prison, now served as museum.
