Alita: Battle Angel (2019)

Finally saw it in the cinema with family. It remind me that is all about good story, once you had it and the rest is how to tell the story. It appeal that this 1990s Japanese Manga then Anime, and now movie adaption is a good story and tell in the right way.

No one brother it is old story or what, what really important is audience enjoy and involve in the process to see how the story go.

It is story after Avatar that tell the future story and that good the content depth that provide the rich experience audience is looking for. I can imagine it will be one of the best movie and for those yet to saw it, highly recommended.

And I am looking forward for the Alita part 2. Alita provide a good cut for where the story stop and where next story should going.

The story is based on Yukito Kishiro (木城 ゆきと)’s manga series Gunnm(銃夢 Ganmu, literally “gun dream”), also known as Battle Angel Alita. It was directed by Robert Rodriguez, written by James Cameron and Laeta Kalogridis, and produced by Cameron and Jon Landau.  Originally announced in 2003, production on the release of the film were repeatedly delayed due to Cameron’s work on Avatar and its sequels. After years of languishing in development hell, Rodriguez was announced as the film’s director in April 2016, with Salazar being cast the following month.
