Turkey Blue Mosque

If one country landmark I saw and quick recall for what I saw in Turkey, Blue Mosque in the list, it present the islamic great architecture. Despite personally I like St Sophia (Hagia Sophia, 1480 years old, build since AD 537), the next build near Blue Mosque much due to it unique architecture and history background, both UNESCO World Heritage site.

Turkey Blue Mosque , Egypt White Mosque, both is great and provide a very different contrast. Both I had chance to go inside before. This 400 years old mosque (build since 1609), former name for Blue Mosque is  The Sultan Ahmed Mosque or Sultan Ahmet Mosque.
For architecture wise,  The Sultan Ahmed Mosque has five main domes, six minarets, and eight secondary domes. The design is the culmination of two centuries of Ottoman mosque development. It incorporates some Byzantine Christian elements of the neighbouring Hagia Sophia with traditional Islamic architecture and is considered to be the last great mosque of the classical period.  Six pillars mosque is rare to see, and you can see it at Blue Mosque.
